The Guia de Vins de Catalunya 2026 is here and we are very proud to announce that our wines have achieved excellent scores out of 10! 🍇🍷
This guide is much more than a list: it is the result of a rigorous blind tasting, with a clear and objective scoring method.
For this edition, the tasters sampled 1,009 wines from 177 wineries.
The tasters assess several aspects, not just flavour: the guide’s method focuses on the authenticity of Catalan wine, giving weight to traditional varieties and the way they express the land.
According to the guide’s team, it is not so much about the tasters’ personal taste as about a set of predefined parameters to make the scores as “objective” as possible.
The guide’s authors are Jordi Alcover, Sílvia Naranjo and Fran Ortiz, renowned experts in Catalan wine.
What is more, this 18th edition includes reflections on the land, sustainability in winegrowing and innovation, showing how Catalan wine is evolving without losing its roots.
