Description
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Designation of Origin: DO Montsant
Wine style: Dry red
Grape varieties and percentages: 100% Grenache
Vinification: The grapes are usually picked by hand around the second half of October. Once at the winery, fermentation takes place slowly over 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, macerating with the skins to extract as much colour as possible and keep the character of the varietal aromas. The wine is then pressed and, to keep the temperature stable, transferred to the tiled concrete vats, where malolactic fermentation takes place.
Ageing and bottling: Although it is a young wine, it is left to rest for 3 months in oak barrels so that it matures, rounds out and sheds its impurities and sediment. It is then bottled to preserve all its qualities.
TASTING NOTE
Intense ruby red colour with violet hues. High intensity, with notes of forest fruits and spices. A very moreish wine with a fruity, fleshy flavour in which you can pick out the ripe, smooth tannins that give it body and personality. Persistent retronasal finish.
Food pairing: It pairs very well with all kinds of white and red meat. It also goes well with pasta, rice dishes and cured meats.
Recommended serving temperature: between 13 and 16 ºC
