Ulldemolins is a village in the Priorat set among the mountains, in the Vall del Silenci, between the Montsant Natural Park and the Serra de la Llena.
The wines from the Vall del Silenci are made under the DO Montsant. They have a fresh character, with notes of aromatic herbs and balsamic hints that come from the terroir of our valley, helped by the local microclimate, at 600 m above sea level and with a continental influence. They are made from native varieties such as Grenache, White Grenache and Macabeo, grown in poor soils of flint, slate (llicorella), limestone and gypsum. These are wines with a character of their own that aim to convey the identity of the Ulldemolins area.
